Moving to 16A Hilton Crescent: 6th May 2025
After 4½ years of renting an office Pavilion House, I have invested in my own space so am moving my practice across West Bridgford to Hilton Crescent.
The new office is nestled in the shopping precinct where the Edwalton Co-op is located. You’ll also find 2 cafés if you want to grab a hot drink before or after your appointment.
For those of you that drive, there is heaps of parking and no more parking jeopardy or narrow driveways to navigate!
For those of you that take public transport, the Leahurst Road bus stop for the no.s 5 & 6 is just a few steps from my new front door, and it’s just a 10 minute walk from the Valley Road bus stop on Melton Road, which is on the NCT’s no.7 and Trent Barton’s Keyworth Connection bus routes.

It’s been a labour of love renovation, with internal insulation, re-wiring, new windows and doors, freshly plastered walls as well as decorating and new carpets. The interior decoration will be remarkably similar to Pavilion House. Nearly all the furniture and all of the art work is mine so it will feel familiar. There’s more windows so more light – it’s a very sunny room.
The final day at Pavilion House will be 1st May, and I’ll be opening 16A Hilton Crescent on 6th May.
Existing clients will have the opportunity to visit the space, check out their travel route, find exactly where I am and take a look at the room on Monday 5th May. If you would prefer not to bump into other visitors, you can book a 10-minute private slot between 10am and midday. For those of you who are happy to mingle with others, I’ll have an “open house” on the same day between 2pm and 4pm. Just email me and I’ll get you booked in.
If you aren’t an existing client, but are interested in seeing if therapy is for you, please do go to the booking page where you can schedule a free, no obligation initial consultation.
The property comes with a potentially lovely (and enormous!) garden, and I hope that eventually it might provide an opportunity for clients to have their appointments outside. But that’s one for the future.
It’s been lovely at Pavilion House, but I’m grateful to be able to buy my own place so reduced rents takes the pressure off in terms of the clients hours I need to complete to cover costs and pay my salary. Unfortunately the nature of the work I do means I can’t just pile on the hours – really 20 hours of face to face work with clients is my limit. It’s hard to make a reasonable living so I’m glad my efforts in my 1st career have allowed me to invest in this way.
Meanwhile, I look forward to welcoming you to my new office!
